Olin Evaluates Salt-to-Bleach Plant for California

Cleveland, TN— May 6, 2008— In accordance with its strong desire to further increase its presence and commitment to its bleach business in California, Olin Chlor Alkali Products is evaluating the possibility of constructing a salt-to-bleach plant in Northern California. Olin's existing Tracy, CA site is being considered for this opportunity, as are other nearby locations. As the largest producer of industrial bleach in North America, Olin will be well-positioned to meet the increasing demand for this product and to provide customers in this part of the country with increased security of supply.   Click for more
